Dele Alli injured during knifepoint robbery at his home

Dele Alli has been injured during a robbery at his home in north London. The Tottenham midfielder, was held at knifepoint and punched after burglars broke in during the early hours of Wednesday morning.


Two men broke into the property and threatened the football player. The 24-year-old was hit in the face during the incident, but has not sustained serious injuries.


The attackers took multiple items from the house, including jewellery and watches. It is believed that the police are reviewing CCTV footage of the incident in Hadley Wood.


“Thank you for all the messages. Horrible experience but we’re all okay now. Appreciate the support.” said Dele Alli to his supporters on Twitter.


A Spurs spokesperson added: “We have been offering our support to Dele and those isolating with him. We encourage anyone with any information to help the police with their investigation to come forward.”
