Wisconsin twins receive 38 college offers and more than $1m in scholarship funds
Arielle and Arianna Williams, identical twins from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, each got accepted to 38 colleges and combined would receive more than $1,000,000 (roughly £816200.00) in scholarship funds.
The 18-year-old twins, studying at the Dr. Howard Fuller Collegiate Academy, are to graduate at the top of their class with the top two highest GPA's.
Not only will the sisters be first-generation college students, but their hard work will also result in graduating from college nearly debt-free.
While studying at college in America costs more than almost any other country, these young ladies should be hugely proud of their achievements and the surreal amount of scholarships they have secured.
A 2018 report by Education at a Glance, released by the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development, found that Americans spend about $30,000 per student a year (this includes contributions of individual families and the government) - nearly twice as much as the average developed country.
Arielle and Arianna Williams both hope to become nurses after college.
